IMM Alumni Association has been registered by the name of “Society of Marketing & Management Alumni” under Societies Registration Act of 1860.

IMM is imparting Post Graduate Education in Management for nearly 40 years. So it is obvious that several of IMM students have touched the heights of success in their respective career, by now.

This tradition of excellence is avidly supported by the following facts.

Many of IMM's alumni are today occupying positions where they are facilitating jobs to a large number of fresh graduates from the Institute.
IMM alumni are presently occupying responsible positions in all the six continents of the World.
Some of the IMM alumni, in the creative field, have set up film institutes and have starred in T.V. Serials.
IMM's alumni are holding positions of pride in Multinationals, Large Industrial Houses, Responsible Govt-Posts, Small & Medium Enterprises and NGOs.

To foster communication and networking within the alumni community, between alumni and IMM, and between alumni and current students
To aid recruitment both by fostering word-of-mouth and showcasing our excellent lifelong relationship with our alumni to the potential students

Sameer Kapoor "During the last semester of PGDM of 96-98 batch , I joined as summer trainee at Essar Cellphone ( Currently Vodaphone ) . The skill aquired during the management course helped me in getting permanent job in direct Sales team with them. Worked with them for more than two and half years at different levels starting as Sales trainee to Sales Executive till 2000 end.

Worked with organizations like Dishnet DSL Ltd (Sterling Group Company ) , Reliance Infocomm Ltd , Airtel from 2000 till 2006 at different levels progressing from the level of Asst manager to Sr. Manager and having the current assignment with Tata Communications ( Erstwhile VSNL ) as National Account Manger ( Sales ) .

Sameer Kapoor It gives me immense pleasure to go down the memory lane and analyze what I did to be what I am today.

Before becoming a part of IMM, I had started working with an advertising agency and handling clients single handedly. Those were the formative years of my career and after having worked and performed exceedingly well for a year, I realized that I would be needing a professional degree to boost my career in future. IMM degree made my dream come true.

Looking back today, I can see that IMM has given me something that has taken my career to next level. There was discipline in the institute, All the faculty were quite good in their respective subjects and used to share things beyond the text books. Coupled with my prior professional experience and the knowledge imparted by the faculty, it was an enriching experience which at times today I find it useful in my career.

Today all of us are busy in our own lives but those were the days of building blocks and I am what I am because IMM has imparted certain values in our systems.

Sameer Kapoor When I was preparing for MBA, there was a question, striking my mind. The question was - "Will I be able to get a good job in such a competitive corporate scenario?"
